New pics

Here are some pictures that I should have put up a week ago along with some new ones. They'll be from my California trip and some from the Thanksgiving Point Gardens (Matt's company summer party).

Let's start with my favorite of the whole bunch:

This picture of Mom is AWESOME! You will be glad to know I took it myself. Yes, I was lucky and Dad is right, the candid pictures usually turn out the best.

Another fun one.

The squirrels there were going nuts (no pun intended at all - oops)! They were not afraid of us at all. They were at our feet and posing for pictures like they'd been doing it all their lives. Plus, we were feeding them In 'N Out fries..that would do it. I love this one.

Ok, this is the funniest picture I took the whole time I was there. This was the day I left, but Grandma saw this old lady next to us at a stop light in a house dress and slippers riding a scooter! She just could not contain herself and everyone else followed. Poor lady didn't even know we were laughing at her. Luckily, I had my camera.

Another great one. Grandma wanted to take pictures (I know I know.. I thought she was on something) so I jumped at the opportunity. I have a lot more if any of you want a copy. They're all pretty good.

The beach was gorgeous.. and it was hot!!

Ok, I got to meet a few cousins while I was there. From left to right: Mom, Aunt Linda, Uncle Don, Mike Runyan (Grandad's nephew - Uncle George's son), his wife Pam Runyan, and Grandad. This was after Mike's performance with Marvin Hamlisch. He's a harmonica virtuoso.. and let me tell you, you won't believe it until you hear it. Not even kidding.
