1. I get really cranky when I'm hungry. If you don't like evil, green monsters, you better listen and feed me the first time I mention it or you're screwed. Just ask Matt lol. I've tried to control it or make it better, but the more I try to mess with it, the more i get frustrated, and the more frustrated I get, the more cranky it comes out. Don't mess with the evil, green monster. (I'm not a horribly mean person, I just need to eat when I'm hungry. :x)

2. I don't know if you'd call this a strange quirk, but I worry more about other people than I do myself. What's weird about it is I'll even worry about people I barely know. I am very protective of people I love and get kinda over obssessive about their happiness. I've been working to make more time for myself.

3. I'm very emotional. Everything I do is based on an emotion of some kind. (ask Matt for proof. He'll tell ya) Even better, I cry when I get cranky....the evil green monster sucks. I mostly cry because I feel bad or guilty about something and most of the time it's all in my head. I'm super paranoid about hurting other people or offending them in some way. Not all the time, but some times I get this way and it bugs the crap out of me and then of course, I cry even more because I don't know how to make it go away. I'm nuts!

4. I don't know.. should I keep telling everyone how crazy I am? Ah well, I suppose the damage is already done. I suppose that's another quirk right there. I tell too much!! I am an open book for the most part and people see right through me. My eyes give away everything! This becomes more annoying when I try to conceal something and can't! Sigh..

5. I can't stand it when parents and relatives yell at young children. It really makes me want to punch someone and go protect the kid. Kids deserve just as much respect as we do as adults. I heard some super mean lady yelling at her kid for no reason last week and I had all I could do to stay inside and not go defend the little boy. Grrr...

6. Bad Grammar...Oh My Gosh.. I cannot stand it when someone uses words, punctuation, tenses, etc. the wrong way. Gives me the freakin' Heebee Geebees. If I can't spell it, I look it up. If I don't know the right way to punctuate something, I will ask until I know it's right. If it's not right, I won't write it, period. I'd be the most anal English teacher if I ever became one. Good thing I'm not an English teacher.

Ok, so now that you all think I'm nuts.....well, you asked for it! I'm surprised I even thought of something to write. I usually blank on these things.

Now, who do I tag? (sorry if you've already been tagged) Tagging Rachel, Jean, Stephanie-Jean, Liz, Rylan, and Becca J.

  1. Don't worry, we don't think you're nuts...I made myself out to look totally OCD! I guess that's what this tag's all about. Kind of fun to hear that we're not all as different as we think! I have a lot of those same "quirks"! Love ya!

  4. I just cannot BEAR it when people shout at their children when the children are just, well, being children. It makes me want to slap them. I try very hard to resist, and usually manage it: but I can never resist correcting the punctuation on chalk-boards and notices. I carry a marker-pen especially for the job.

    I am a sad woman!
